Petri Dish to Plate is a blog about the intersection of Biotech and food.  It’s about how the food we eat everyday, for better or for worse, has already been drastically altered by biotech, and where it might go in the future.  We cover genetically modified (GM) crops, in-vitro meat, and other topics.  Our goal is to carefully review and present these issues to the public with our own two cents added in.  We hope you enjoy it and find it informative.

This blog was created as a project for the class Biotechnology in Medicine at Brown University by four undergraduate students.
